These are just a few of the wonderful musicals that we at Jam know and love and teach to our students.

From the classic oldies to the latest shows, each week the children can be anything from a dancing lion to a cockney flower seller !

WHAT GOES ON IN THE MUSICAL THEATRE CLASS?

Dance: As well as fun and fitness, students get the opportunity to learn choreography from movies & musicals as well as a taster of all kinds of dance including Tap, Ballet & Modern.
Singing: Students get to know songs from all decades ranging from show tunes, movie soundtracks to pop music.
Drama: Children can be whoever they want to be with improvisation and scripts from theatre and, tv and films *

 * All scripts, dances and songs contain suitable content for children. 


All of our classes are designed first and foremost to be
fun and enjoyable.
We are firm believers that a child thrives on encouragement & praise.
This, together with developing self-discipline, forms the basis of our approach to teaching.

The essentials of Musical Theatre are dance, singing and drama.
Musical theatre is a form of theatre combining music, songs, spoken dialogue and dance.

We at Jam think that after a hard week at school what better way to kick off the weekend than with a quirky song, some step ballchanges and some jazz hands!

The Jam Academy is run by performers who are still actively involved in the entertainment business.
If ever a teacher is unavailable to teach due to professional work commitments and another teacher is not available, you will be fully refunded for that cancelled class.

We also offer:
 
Private tuition classes: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Singing, Drama, Audition classes for pupils who would like to take up Performing Arts as a career. Ask Helen or Cass for details.
Wedding Dance: We'll choreograph your first dance to suit you.

We offer a 10%  discount for siblings attending the school
